It's Today!
Warwick Welcomes you to the Market Place for the Classic Car Show organised by members of Warwick Court Leet.
It's free to attend this popular annual show!

Once a year, Warwick Court Leet holds its ‘Assizes Day’.
Officers of the ancient Court in ceremonial dress will be at the Saturday market and around the town visit invited traders to test their ware. These officers include the Fish, Cheese and Flesh taster as well as the Bread weigher and of course the Ale taster!!!
This practice reflects the historical duty of the Court to ensure that food and goods sold in the town were of a satisfactory standard and ‘fit for consumption’ by the local towns folk, and that the dealings of the traders were ‘fair and honest’.
Those that successfully past this examination are rewarded with the presentation of a certificate together with a sprig of ‘evergreen’ to ‘display over their portal’.
