Court House Tour

31 May @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Our next free Court House Tour will be on Saturday May 31st from 10.30 to 11.15am.

Learn about the 300 year history of the old Magistrates’ Court and Town Hall and the story of who administered Warwick from its founding in 914 by The Lady of the Mercians, Aethelflaed, and the creation of the Corporation by the Charter of Henry VIII in 1545.

If it isn’t in use, we’ll look inside the elegant Regency ballroom on the first floor, the scene of many assemblies and balls, civic meetings and public hearings.

You can just turn up at the Visitor Information Centre in Jury Street, or to be sure of a place, call them on 01926 492212.

These tours will continue on selected Saturday mornings through the summer. The next dates are July 5th and 26th, August 30th and September 13th and 20th.
